Clone a Git Repository Behind a Proxy Server

My encounter with cloning a Git Repository on Azure DevOps behind an organization’s proxy server

While getting started on a new project within the network environment of an organization, I assumed I could just clone the specified Git repository without any hassle. Well for me, this mostly wouldn’t lead to any issues when I normally do so on a public Git repository on a hosting provider like GitHub or GitLab.
